Asahi's Super Lucky Cat is in the style of 'Maneki Neko' (招き猫, literally "Beckoning Cat"; also known as Welcoming Cat, Super Lucky Cat, Money Cat or Fortune Cat), which is traditionally placed in the home or places of business to bring good fortune.
The Super Lucky Cat is approximately 16 1/2" high, 13 1/2" wide and sits on a red mat which is 11" x 11". It is made of fine ivory colored porcelain and weighs approximately 7 pounds.
